18 ways to quickly repurpose content that feels new (part 2)

If you missed part one, make sure you go back and check it out here >>> [ READ PART 1 ]. & like I said in my last post, I wanted to do a quick 5 minute brainstorm sesh on a specific topic that a bunch of you have been asking me in the fb group & dms lately, which is: how to use the content you already have & repurpose it quickly without it feeling like a stale repeat of what you’re already created.
You know those times where you’re like : I NEED to create something but I don’t know what, or I don’t have the time to create something brand new… or you’re even just feeling stuck, in a rut creatively. THIS is the list of ways you can repurpose what you’ve already created and quickly transform it into something new and shiny, without much extra work on your part.
Because sometimes you need a tutorial on how to do a specific thing or a specific strategy, and other times, you just need a good list of places you can start or ideas to spark your imagination, but you just don’t have someone to think it through with. & that’s exactly why I wanted to start a brainstorming blog series! Are you ready? Let’s brainstorm on part 2….
18 WAYS TO REPURPOSE THE CONTENT YOU ALREADY HAVE (PART 2)
10. Turn your podcast into clips with headliner
Your podcast is FULL of content. So let’s reuse it by creating some social sharables! Break your podcast down into sharable clips using an audiogram app like headliner to create mini clips of your podcast. You can use an app like Canva to design some scroll-stopping graphics to go with it, and it’s a great way to direct your audience to past episodes!
11. Put your podcast in video form on youtube
Youtube is a great place to share your podcast because it’s an entirely new audience (and it’s a video search engine so theres a great chance of people searching for what you’re talking about!). & you can easily turn your podcast into a video, whether you record in video form or audio only, using Canva! Here’s how: Create a video project in Canva. Upload your audio recording to Canva. Find some stock video footage that matches your brand or use a static graphic that matches your brand for the visual. Add your audio and export!
12. Put your live trainings on youtube
This is a great way to get more mileage out of the Facebook live trainings you put so much effort into! Just download your live video from Facebook (you can only do this as the creator of the live video. AKA if it’s not your video, you can’t download it). Then upload that baby straight to youtube. Make sure to use those searchable keywords that relate to your training so more people can find it!
13. Put your podcast in video form on igtv
Want to get more people hearing your podcast on the platform they’re already on? Put your podcast on IGTV! Just like creating the podcast video for youtube, use an audiogram app & Canva to take the audio from your podcast and pair it with an image to create a video (just make sure your Canva project is sized for IGTV/ IG stories). When you’re done, just download from Canva and upload to IGTV!
14. Turn the tips from your live, story, or igtv into a word graphic
If you’re someone who likes to go live or speak to the camera vs creating graphics, then this is for you! Make the most out of your social platforms & use all the features by using your tips/messages from your livestreams to create your graphics! You can use pre-made templates in Canva (there are a ton and they look like a pro made them!) to create word graphics based on tips that you’ve already shared in your other content! Just pick a template. Change the fonts / colors / graphics to match your branding. Change the placeholder text to your tip & then upload to social! Creating static content for your feeds just got easier!
15. Turn reviews into graphics
If you’re not utilizing social proof on social, you’re going to start now because it’s SUPER POWERFUL and now, easier than ever to create. First, find your best reviews (look at your Facebook page, your Google page, and other applicable sites for your business like Yelp, etc.) Then, find a Canva template for reviews / testimonials (there are a ton that look amazing!). Change the template to match your brand, and then copy / paste the review onto the template & upload to social!
16. Turn quotes from your podcast into graphics
Because you say a lot of valuable stuff in your podcast, it’s time to make sure more people hear it by turning your podcast messages into quote graphics. Same deal as before - First, go through your podcast episodes and find a nugget of wisdom you shared that more people need to hear! Then, find a Canva template, make it match your brand, and replace the placeholder text with your own quote from your podcast! Upload that baby to social and reach even more people with your message!
17. Create mockup graphics for the feed including stories or reels
Remind people of stories/ reels you posted by making them perfect for the feed! Download the clips to your phone. Create a Canva template with a phone mockup (you can find it in the stickers section) & make it match your brand. Upload your clips and then add them into your phone mockup. The video will look like you’re playing your story / reel on a phone instead of just resharing the clip to your feed, because that variety is scroll stopping!
18. Turn a well converting post into an ad
Heads up: This is a little different for everyone because of how Facebook changes things and provides different methods to run ads, but if you have a post, video, live that is doing well organically, as long as it’s public, you can turn it into a paid ad to reach more people in a more targeted demographic to reach new people. Google will be your best friend on how to do this using your specific method of creating ads, but it’s definitely a possibility!
